He said it is clear, easy to use and very inexpensive for what you get. He already took it for several tests on the lake and it really impressed him with doing everything that was promised. Another reviewer ended up returning his 161 because he was not satisfied with the map included. He’d wanted to upgraded it but this was not possible, therefore he ended up returning it and blamed himself for expecting too much.

Another buyer said the 161 is a lot better than he expected. It turned out it was also a lot cheaper and upon receiving it he found that the installation was a breeze and the instructions were very good as well. He claims to be a novice boater which very little experience with fishfinders, therefore he may be easily wowed, but the 161 had everything he needed and he would happily recommend it to anyone.
